meals now require no less than 4 spoons. this particular morning we needed 5. aiyana is beginning to use a spoon to feed herself. although for weeks she has had her own bowl and spoon during meals, now she scoops food on them and usually tries to scoop food from mommy and daddy, too.
"if i just wipe this in really good, maybe she won't notice..."
when she has finished her meal, aiyana signals by clearing the table with one quick sweep of her arm, or, if there is food on the table, she thoroughly spreads it around.
